Recommendations on smaller two speed saltwater jigging reels?

I'm looking for a good 2 speed reel about the size of a Penn 500 to replace my existing light jigging reel. Have contemplated the Daiwa Saltist in a 40 or 50 size, but was wondering if anyone here has a particular favorite.

Main applications will be jigging for blackfin tuna or red snapper in the Gulf, and bottom jigging in Alaska for halibut (typical size is 20-40 lbs).
