Hey guys I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nate and I’m the owner of Hill Country Reel and Rod Repair. I was Shimano’s senior lead technician up until a year and a half ago and I was with them for 15 years. I specialize in Shimano but I work on anything since there all very similar inside.
I also do guide repair on rods and I stock over a 100 different colors of Gudebrod thread to match most rods. I also stock over a thousand different parts for Shimano reels like bearings, gears, levelwind parts, clutch parts and drag washers. I pretty much stock all the major parts for most Shimano baitcasters and spinning reels. I’m also a Boca Bearing Dealer if you’re looking to upgrade your bearings and I’m a authorized repair center for Duckett Rods.
On average my turnaround time is 2-3 days but can vary by season. I’m located in Liberty Hill by 183 and 29. I accept walk ins by appointment or you can mail your reels to me.
