Having problem getting the gps to work . I think I may have a break in the wire , sometimes when I shack the wire it will come on but not all the time Can you just replace the wire or do you have to get a new gps puck to , or can you find the bad spot and splice it and wire it back .

The GPS puck and wire is an all or none. If there is any issues, order a new one for $150 and replace it. I would not try and splice it. I am doubtful that your splice could even hold up to being re-pulled into place.

Did you try running the diagnostic test to see if unit is showing gps connected? Manual has instructions for how to do this.

The Accessory Test View shows if it is connected.

The GPS Diagnostic View shows its performance.
