Heck yes it's worth it if you do any offshore fishing. I just use mine as a heading sensor though, I don't use it for GPS wypts.

It's great and I never regret buying it and now I have a Motorguide XI5 everything work together.. it's awesome for offshore fishing

Must have for fishing small areas of structure out deep. You can put your boat right on the spot you need, no more wasting time going back and forth trying to find. It pull up, hit the spot on the first cast.
