Minn Kota talon bracket

I'm looking for some help to get the correct bracket for my 8ft talon, I'm putting it on my nitro NX882 with this motor mount setup (pic). Also are there any benefits to port or starboard side, I don't have a ladder or anything to get in the way of the mount.

Is it possible to use a different bracket to attach to my setback plate? I don't really want to use the sandwich style if I don't have to.

You will have to have the Sandwich style on that Jackplate. There is no bolts on the side (from the appearance of the picture) to bolt the JP bracket to.
