Hook-4... Bow Mount & Kayak

I currently have a Lowrance Touch on the console of my boat. I'm thinking about getting a Hook-4, with two transducers and two mounting brackets so I can mount one bracket and transducer on my Yak, and the other bracket and transducer (mounted on the trolling motor) on the bow of my boat. Then just take the unit where I want to.

Thoughts? anyone done it? Pro's / Con's?

Thanks Ranger. I bought a Mark 4 and put it on the bow. Put the transducer on the trolling motor. But.... when the trolling motor is on, I must be getting some electrical interference because my screen turns almost all white (can barely see the transducer return through the white / milky screen). When the trolling motor is off, perfect picture, turn on the trolling motor, milky white again.

Any idea how to fix it?

You may want to work the fish finder on a different battery from the TM.

thx... will try that. I'll also put an RF Choke in...just in case.

Moving the power supply from the TM to the cranking battery did the trick! Thanks Ranger.
