Ideas for DIY Spider Rig Set Up

Anyone every put together a diy spider rig set up? At the moment I am just thinking of building a small plywood platform that fits into the bow area of my jon boat, and mounting some cheap rod holders on. Anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or best case pictures of projects you've put together?

There used to be a great thread in the catfishing section that I think was called something like "show us what you have made" or something like that. There were tons of great ideas including rod holders, but I can't find it using the search function.

You might send a pm to Jacob here on the forum. He rigged up a spider rig very similar to what you described.

This is what I ended up doing. Simple, not exactly pretty, but functional and cheap.

As you can see I should have been cutting the grass instead of playing games with the Jon boat haha.
