A couple of hand warmers in your pocket. It has to be pretty darn cold before I where gloves fishing.

I looked at these exact gloves on Amazon and the reviews were horrible. Maybe they work for fishing better than a "duty" glove.

For actual fishing, surgical gloves with thumb/finger tips cut off under light cotton gloves with thumb/finger removed. Hand warmer between surgical and cotton glove on back of hand.

Cheap, functional and comfortable.

When I get ready to make boat run, I slip a pair of wool mittens over these.

If you have a Costco membership, they have Head neoprene gloves for running, etc.. they have the index and thumb with that material to use touch screens, work great, $9.99 a pair. The only thing about neoprene is they are not windproof, so a cold run down the lake will still be a bit bone chilling. Like others said, you could put on surgical gloves underneath to help, not sure how easy neoprene gloves slide over the surgical glove rubber.
