Onix and 360

Got the 360 installed does the GPS sensor that came with the 360 have to be used ? Or will the Onix GPS take its place ? If the 360 GPS sensor must be used anyone know which adapter it takes to go between the Onix and the 360 GPS sensor ?

The 360 comes with the AS GPS HS antenna. It has a compass (Heading Sensor). The reason it comes with that antenna is to create waypoints on the 360 view.

You don't have to use it, but the GPS function will be more stable with it.

You need an adapter cable for the connection----- AS GPS NMEA

The antenna that comes standard with the 360 is the Humminbird AS GPS HS Precision GPS Antenna w/Heading Sensor. You do not need to have it connected to run the 360. If you want to use it with the Onix unit it will require the following:

Humminbird AS GPS NMEA ONIX Splitter Cable
Model: 720080-1

The updates on the Onix for GPS are pretty fast. The antenna above will be even better.

The Point 1 is the Lowrance version of the Humminbird Heading sensor antenna AS GPS HS.

They are not interchangeable.

Lowrance units don't talk to Minnkota's iPilot Link
