Lowance Linking

I have a 12 touch on console and 9 touch on nose that are supposedly linked. I can't get charts or side imaging on the front,even though the source says HDS12. Any helpful ideas?

Do you know if they are linked through eithernet or NMEA2000, or both?

Don't know. I bought a 2014 Skeeter,a guides boat.

For map sharing and LSS sharing you don't need it to say the other graph as source. Those 2 items are shared automatically through the Ethernet cable (the yellow cable). You will need the graphs to have at least the 2.0 update to have map sharing as well. If your graphs have never been updated to your knowledge then it wouldn't hurt to update them.


So first off make sure you have the yellow Ethernet cable hooked up.

My thought is there is not an ethernet connection. Both are flush mounted,so a pain to pull them and look. The only thing I get on front is sonar from the 12 or I can get it from trolling motor transducer. I do know that if I set the front to be its own source it screws up downscale on the 12.
