Minn Kota 106D not fully charging

Unit is only a few months old as well as the trolling motor and battery. Worked great at first but now I can't get more than a 3/4 charge on the battery. Has anybody else had this problem and know a fix? Fueses on charger leads are good and battery is good on water, only thing different than the manual is it's not grounded out to the hull.
