Have the4chirp for about three months. Can not see the screen and seems to be getting worse (brightness). Any suggestions other than moving up. Really disappointed. Think I'll go with the 9 HDS.
Humminbird Helix 9" 10" and 12" series will be coming out very soon......

On some of the Elite series, pushing the power button quickly will cause it to scroll through screen brightness.

I think that is exactly what the problem. Trying to reset by turning off and was not holding power button long enough. Thanks for your help.
