lowrance hds gen2 touch 12

I have a 2013 z520c with the lss2 xducer mounted in the middle of the set back using a xducer shield and saver bracket. my images are not the best, looking for help/suggestions about settings and or transducer location. any help appreciated

Here are some good initial Sonar settings.

•Sensitivity – Manual 69-76%

•Color Line – 70%

•Auto Depth Range – ON

•Chart Speed – Normal or 2x

•Surface Clarity – OFF

•Noise Rejection – LOW

•Fish ID – All options OFF

•Ping Speed – 100%

•Color Palette - #13
