Unit is an Elite 7 / CHIRP.
First trip out and definitely a newbie to electronics. I went with the factory settings as i wasn't sure what to adjust. Although I did play with different screen colors. Mounted on an aluminum tracker boat. Strake is not in the way but there are rivets that i can't do anything about no matter where I mount the transducer. I current have the transducer set about an 01/8" below the boat. I lose all reading when on plane.
How do i clear these pics up...and show me the fish if you see them.
