I run Gladiators on all 5 of my trailers. I have had the best luck with them over other brands I have tried.
But just because they work for me, doesn't mean they will work for everybody else..

NTB Commodore. After a few thousand miles I am very pleased with these radial tires. The old tandum Roadrunner trailer loves them! Very soft ride at an affordable price.

I've never seen a boat on tires. 
However, Goodyear Marathons are good trailer tires. I wouldn't be oppose to running some el cheapo, as long as it was a decent enough tire to not worry about blow outs though.
