Travel Protectors for Depth Finders

Travel Protectors for Depth Finders - 10/04/18 08:46 PM

Old age and arthritis are making it very ornery for me to hook up all the cables on my fish finders every trip. I have an HDS 7 and HDS 9 at the console and Elite 7 at the bow. All are on Ram mounts. Does anyone make trailering covers for them so I can leave them hooked up? I plan to use a strip of inner tube on each to keep them from moving in the mounts.

Thanks for any info.

Someone used to sell some in the classified section also straps to hold the OEM ones on while trailering. Not sure if he still advertises or if you will have to search for him but it's there.

RiverATackle. Carlos Rivera here in the forum makes some nice neoprene covers that zip on. Custom colors and logos available too.

I use short bungee cords wrapped around sonar head units to keep my factory Lowrance covers from coming off when trailering.
