I've got a '94 boat that's not worth a ton but still has really nice gelcoat and seats, trying to keep it that way. There were only a couple of options for my boat.Based on their recommendation I went with $169/8 year warranty. Cover has 33 "verified" 4/5 star reviews and 96% positive. Wouldn't expect it to last the 8 years, but maybe 3-4?

Cover came gray and turned pink after 3 weeks of Texas sun. Emailed them some pics and they said sorry, fading not covered by warranty. I understand not being able to guarantee color won't change - but 3 weeks? What a joke!

Gotta think if same thing happened with a universal cover from BPS, Academy, Cabelas or even Wal-Mart that would take care of such a lousy product? Lesson learned I guess.

Forgot to add that fit was bad too. No accommodation made in hemline for outboard, leaves material bunched up on back deck where water collects. Would fit like a glove on a boat with no motor! Tried to return immediately due to poor fit but got the run around from seller. Gave up waiting and installed anyway, then it turned pink.

Regardless of color does it still protect from sun and rain? Do you use the rear seat in the boat? Mine needs the front seat removed but the back in place to get proper water removal.

No. The back end is partially exposed. It won't fit right on a boat with an OB. Bungee can't go low enough to stay on. There are straps on the sides of cover but none in the back. I'm using 2 milk jugs filled with water to keep it on. And a vinyl tarp to cover the gap it leaves. Real Gucci setup.

Poor fit is the reason I tried to return it in the first place. In spite of their 100% satisfaction policy, they were unwilling to exchange. I gave up and used the cover anyway; it turned pink.

Whole point of my post is to warn others about this company. This was a horrible waste of money. Haven't felt ripped off this bad since I bought those Mexican jumping beans in Matamoros when I was 6.

That sucks. I ordered from an online company that swore they had the patterns for the Champion boat and it would be an exact fit. NOT. Fortunately they took it back. I ended up with one of the generic ones from BPS that went over the motor also. Actually has been much better than I thought it would be. I ended up buying one of those temporary harbor freight carports and mounted in concrete blocks. It keeps the rain and most of the sun off the boat so it ended being a good combo to go with.
