Humminbird transducer - 02/19/18 04:39 PM

I have a MK fortrex with universal transducer. Was going to get a Bird with Chirp . Will the universal transducer read in Chirp capability?

Yes, Humminbird units CHIRP the transducer that is connected to it. No different than the one in the box--same 83/200 kHz crystal.

You wont get DI with the universal transducer. The us2 humminbird adapter cable will allow you to read 2d sonar with temp, nothing else. You can contact Humminbird to get the trolling motor specific DI transducer when you send them the unused/unopened transom transducer. What model Humminbird did you buy?
