Navionics card

Stupid question of the day..........when I fish different lakes, shouldn't the card automatically know what body of water I'm on? Can't seem to get it to change on it's own???

The map card doesn't know anything. GPS is what does the locating. If the body of water is on the map card, GPS will have it displayed when you are there unless you prevent it from doing that.

What sonar/GPS equipment do you have?

You may have locked the chart view by turning on the curser. If you have a large + on the screen, push the Exit button to turn it off.
