4 tournaments on Ray Roberts that day....Poormans, Bud Light DFW, also Bud Light North, and CAST. Over 100 boats. Hopefully they're not all taking off from the same ramp. I noticed this well over a month ago, which is why I'll be looking for another lake that day. I can't figure out if tournament directors don't look for these situations or if they simply don't care.

Sorry I meant that it's 2 of their groups which means probably twice the number of people that show up to their usual tournaments. I'm not sure how many they usually have in their tournaments and I couldn't find what ramp they're using on their website. Just sounds like a setup for a bad surprise for lots of people that morning. Hopefully I'm wrong.

None of those tournaments draw very many boats. Shouldn't be much different than a normal day on that lake

Agreed, bud light was there last year as well.. plenty of room for everyone... I don't get why people always complain about more than one tournament being on a lake, I mean, that pretty much happens on every single lake in texas every single weekend in spring... fishing is good, tournament fishing is fun.. go have fun.. it's going to be ok smile

Should be a fun day on the lake (and at the ramps) with these 4 tournaments and the high school teams pre-fishing for state championships.

If you were putting in at Jordan with budight I bet you get a lot more boats. I know we would fish both but with teams weighing in opposite sides of the lake we will have to stick with budlight.
