As far as I know, he told everyone the stop time changed to 9:30. No one broke any rules. I personally saw Billy tell multiple people the time changed.

Everyone was told last cast 9 30. And will be from now on. Everyone liked the extra time

Amazing bag of fish, biggest i've heard of on Grapevine, congrats.

is it true, you are allowed to fish the morning and day of the wednesday night tournament and still fish the tournament?
things have sure changed if so.

Is there some rule that says you can't fish another lake then come to grapevine and fish the night tourney? or you just looking for something to complain about?

Ha, another competitor was an "observer" to our twin 8.8s & another 4.5lber. I think we're okay. grin
Surely, it was a great day of fishing...tourney or not, days like that are rare -- a lot of luck involved. Very grateful AND lucky to have that experience.

He said he told everyone that handed him cash. Was that 30 minutes the difference in y'all's night? Just curious why you are being so passive aggressive on an online forum about it...

Re: Grapevine Wednesday night tournaments - 03/23/17 05:25 PM

I changed it on here for next week and as I said before I told every single angler everyone of them that we would stop fishing at 9 30. Everyone was told including you when I took your money while you were backing in. I would be interested in who says I did not tell them. As far as the bag of fish I have had numerous 20lb sacks on the vine in the night tourney my best was 24lbs. The lake is on fire and I expect to see a lot more of those. They hit the right spot at the right time. After seeing a 28, 27 and a 29 lb sacks so far this year on the vine I don't think that sack surprises anyone. Great job to those guys. Oh and Shipe had a 25 and Bryant with a 23 just in the past month so I I'm not surprised at all.

Yeah, I don't get that...we were beached at the ramp just hanging out in the boat just a couple minutes after 9.

I would've waited a little longer if I had a good bag... that's for dang sure.
