Brazos River Bass Club (Open) Squaw Jan 7th - 01/01/17 08:10 PM

Okay Guys, we decided to make this a little easier being Squaw is a crowded place right now. Given this is our season kick off tournament it will be an OPEN tournament to anyone who would like to fish but members and new members points will accrue towards AOY standings for the year. After this tournament all standard rules, launch, fishing times, sign ups will be the normal process moving into the remainder of the season. Please feel free to call or PM me with any questions you may have. I do ask any NON MEMBER teams looking to fish please call in advance. [/i]

Fishing times will be from when they let us in the gate to 2:45. Scales close @ 3:30 manage your time appropriately.

1in5 payback
$80 Basic
$20 Big Bass

Attached is the remainder of our season.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TFF!

With temps forecasted down in the 20's at start up, whats the prediction for a fog delay ?

I've been there in warmer weather and had fog....and the same temp without or with very little...it's difficult to guess...but there will be a little wind Fri night and sat morning so it might help push out some if it decides to fog up...just my 2 cents

We will be by the restrooms in a black dodge with a red legend. We plan on getting in line to launch around 645-7. Shoot me a text if you plan on fishing, I'll wait a little longer if anyone gets caught in the back of the line.

Fog delay until 9am. Fishing was tough for me. Curious what the results of the tournament were.

14.07 pretty sure is what won BRBC and big bass 4.59. We had 7 boats today...not too bad for 12 degrees at boat ramp this morning . Ended up nice by end of day.

Starting the morning with a warm 12 degrees left the lake open for us crazies that decided to fish. Between icy ramps, frozen rods and multiple busted livewell actuators the season has kicked off!

We had 7 teams fish, paid out 2 places plus Big Bass.
Congratulation to Aaron Grant/Bruce Clay with the 1st place finish and Mark Rhodes/Kyle Norrad for second.
Good Job Fellas!!!!

Aaron/Bruce 14.07lbs
Mark/Kyle 13.28-BB 4.59lbs

Travis/Cody 11.05
Cole/Dillon 11.02
