Bettie VFD Spring Bass Tournament on Lake Gilmer

The Bettie Volunteer Fire Department is having their 2016 Spring Bass Tourney on Lake Gilmer April 2. I will try to post a printable entry form tomorrow. Otherwise you can pick up entry forms at East Texas Sonar in Longview, ABC Auto in Gilmer, Gilmer Pawn Shop, and Big Earl's on Hwy 11 west Pittsburg. Same as last year tournament hours are 7am-3pm and live well checks begin at 5:30am. Entry forms received by March 26th are eligible for an extra $250 bonus cash prize. Entry fee is $100 per team/boat and $10 for big bass ($110 total). We are also raffling off a new Smith & Wesson 40 cal. Shield pistol and that drawing will be held at the end of weigh in. Tickets are being sold $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Tournament Director is Michael Kuza 903-790-1342.

Early entries have started coming in this week. Don't forget to get them in by March 26 to be eligible for the $250 bonus cash prize. We will also be paying two places now on big bass.
