Reading this again;
You have to join BASS; pay dues and get a #
Then pay National dues
Then pay State dues
Then join an affiliated club and pay dues
Then pay tournament entry fees
?????
Is this correct ?

Baically yes, This is a B.A.S.S. sponsored trail, so here are the steps:
Join B.A.S.S. by subscribing to the B.A.S.S. magazine and getting your B.A.S.S. member number (subscription is usually about $12.00)
Join a B.A.S.S.Nation affiliated club and join- Coleto Bassmasters club dues are $20.00 year
Pay your B.A.S.S. Nation dues for State ($25.00) and National ($30.00)
Pay tournament entry fee for the tournaments you want to fish ($75.00)
Several steps but this is the road to the Bassmasters classic- someone from the B.A.S.S. Nation will advance to Regional Championship, National Championship and get shot at fishing the Elite series and ultimately a shot at the Bassmasters classic. If you are not familiar with B.A.S.S., I suggest you go to their website and research the B.A.S.S. Nation section
