Athens High School Fishing team Benefit Oct.3 2015

Second annual "Hornet Classic" tournament Oct. 3, 2015 at the lake Athens Marina.

We are holding an open team tournament to benefit the Athens High School Fishing Team. It will he hosted by the Athens Bass Club and should be a well run event. $130 / team. We will pay 1 place for every 5 entries. $10. Of each entry will go into a big bass jackpot.

So you cant fish North of the bridge?

Not trying to be a smart @$$ but North of the bridge isn't considered a no wake area. Is that yalls rule or what? Just want clarification. Thanks

You may fish north of the bridge.

I didn't catch that. It was from last summer when the lake was so low. I will check with the Bass Boosters and see if they want to take that statement out.

There are no fish North of the bridge that will win you a tournament.
There are only slot fish North of the bridge..........and a few unders.

This is a GREAT tournament for a very worth while cause.
I'll be there again this year.
I also have lots and lots of baits to donate.
I'm sure the HS team could use anything that you are not using.

The form should be correct now. Sign up will begin around 4:30am.

4.Fishing hours are between 6:00am or safe light and 3:00pm OCTOBER 3, 2015.

5.Weigh-in time is 3:00pm to 4:00pm. All contestants must be in the weigh-in line and checked in with tournament officials by 3:30pm SHARP.

6.Contestants must check in and be live well checked by tournament officials at Lake Athens Marina prior to fishing.
