Weigh in location is changing due to conflict at Chandlers on Ray Hubbard.
Stand by for new spot!

How do you determine which fish goes in which slot? Is it an hourly weigh in?

Re: New Concept in Bass Tournament coming soon! - 07/16/15 02:53 AM

Dont confuse the word slot. Each fish is an individual weight.
One person can win a check with any ONE of his fish.
Because of this. An order is not needed.
Example:
Tom pays for 5. He brings up to five to weigh in, his choice
As long as its legal. But each bass is an individual big bass weight.
Nothing is combined.
Fred pays for two slots(fish). He can only bring two fish to scales.
It doesn't matter because it a big bass tourney and each fish stands
Alone.

Re: New Concept in Bass Tournament coming soon! - 07/16/15 07:57 PM

so everyone's largest fish goes into slot one.
second largest fish in slot 2
& so on.
if there are 10 guys in the 5 fish slot.
Then the smallest of each of the 5 go in the last slot and the biggest small fish wins the slot 5 pot.

is this correct ?

Re: New Concept in Bass Tournament coming soon! - 07/16/15 08:29 PM

Lol we are just way over thinking this guys.
Each fish is its own individual weight.
Each fish competes against the next.
If Fred has three fish to weigh in.
1.62
3.45. Second place
2.75
Tom has two fish:
2.87
1.75
Rick has five
4.84. First place
1.65
2.37
2.25
3.08. Third place

And so on.

You can bring your number of fish in one sac.
We will weigh them individual at random.
The purpose of this is to not only build you guys a better pot,
But to offer better odds of getting in the money.
While also offering the guys with less pocket to still fish.
The chances to win increase by the number of spots you pay for.
In the end, it's fair to anyone because it only takes one fish to get in the money.
But don't let the word "slot" confuse you, that's just a term to represent each fish.

Re: New Concept in Bass Tournament coming soon! - 07/16/15 08:38 PM

We will have a pre-tournament meeting at bass pro Friday the 14th.
At that time I will answer all gray areas, provide everyone with knowledge of how the payout is
Going to be, and let everyone get registered.
Keep in mind: You will need your fishing license at time of registration.
Cash entry only. You will be given receipts.
After the first tourney we will start opening up our entry pay methods.
Winners will be paid the same way. Not by check, at this first tourney.
As far as payout. That is determined by the number of anglers.
And the totals to be broken down is determined by the entries.
I will be posting a full set of rules here in a day or so.
But they are standard, except for a couple of adjustments to meet our format.
All winners WILL be subject to a polygraph in case you are concerned.
You may text or call me anytime or message me.
Thanks guys

Ray Hubbard tourney will be held out of Bass Pro, NOT Chandlers.
Friday night at 7 pm I will be hosting a pre tourney meeting
To answer any questions and to receive registrations.
If you register at meeting you may trailer and go to spot
But not fish before 6 am Saturday.
Weigh in will be at 2 above the docks on the south side of bass pro.
Ultimate care of fish is encouraged due to heat.
Questions, please call,message, or text.
Looking forward to a good turn out.
