Longhorn Inivitational on Lake Austin March 21 (College SOY Sanctioned) - 03/05/15 08:41 PM
The University of Texas at Austin will be hosting the 2nd Annual Longhorn Invitational on Lake Austin March 21. Last year we had a great turnout and Lake Austin lived up to its big fish name. Last year 16/21 boats weighed over 15 pounds and it took almost 27 to win. We also saw a 12 and a 9 pound fish weighed.
This year we have a great payout set-up with a traditional 80% payout, but we have also secured prize packages from Costa, McCain Hi Performance Rods, and Cabelas College Fishing. It should be a great tournament, as this time of year Lake Austin kicks out a lot of big fish.
Registration will be held Friday, March 20th from 6-7 pm at Emma Long Park, and Saturday March 21st from 5:30-6:30am at Emma Long Park. For more information and to register, please visit: http://www.collegiatebasschampionship.com/tournament-schedule.html
