$5,000 1st place (based on 80 entries) July 12, 2014 Bobby Clark Memorial Tournament - Eagle Mountain Lake

Metroplex Bass Club (www.metroplexbassclub.com) is sponsoring a Memorial Tournament for Bobby Clark on July 12th at Eagle Mountain Lake. Headquarters - Twin Point's Boat Ramp. Entry Fee for all boats is $100 per boat (1 or 2 persons per boat) and includes Stringer and Big Bass. 100% Payback! Payouts are based on a minimum of 80 entries: 1st Place - $5,000; 2nd Place - $1,000; 3rd Place - $400; 4th Place - $275; 5th Place - $225; 6th Place - $175; 7th Place - $125; and 8th Place - $100. Big Bass: 1st Place - $500 and 2nd Place $200.

Donated items will be auctioned off after weigh in to help his wife, JoAnna Clark.

Sign up at the Twin Points Marina from 4:30 AM until 6:00 AM on July 12th.

First cast is at 6:00 am, last cast at 2:00 pm. Be in line at weigh in by 2:30 pm.

Would be nice to see 80+ out there, plus maybe they would shut down the ramp due to lack of parking and we would nt have to put up with all the yahoo's

Supposedly they shut down the gate to get in to Twin Points after 60something boats are in. And may have heard a rumor that the tournament is moving launch sites? Can anybody confirm or deny this?

Is sign up at the ramp or Twin Points Marina? Not sure where Twin Points Marina is located.

Twin points ramp is where the sign up will be that morning, its the new ramp

TD will be at the ramp at 4:30 doing sign ups, first cast is at 6 am

In memory of Bobby and as an honor to Brian, Fun-n-Sun will donate (2) $100 tackle gift certificates that can be redeemed at either Hurst store or the ALL NEW Cleburne location. 0ne will be given to the highest finisher in a Fun-n-Sun purchased Skeeter; the second one will be used for however Brian wants.

Bobby was a helluva good fisherman and obviously the gene was passed down. Good luck to the winners, and lets raise some money for a good family.

Any news on who won?

Not sure who won, but I'm pretty sure 23+ won it. In fact, I think it took 20 pounds to get a decent check. Fishing was on at Eagle Mountain today.

1 st was 23+.2nd was 21+. We got third with 20.14 and BB 8.75. 4th was 20.10 lbs.Not sure what 5th place was.

wow, nice results! Good job guys. 8.75BB is impressive as hell for that lake! My fishing buddy loves flipping docks and I don't and he's been hounding me to get out there... please tell me none of the good fish you got came from the docks so if we go he doesn't have me in them all day? haha

We had 50 boats fish the Bobby Clark Memorial. Congratulations goes to Craig Goodwin and Ryan Mcgrail for taking 1st place with a weight of 23.30lbs and 2nd place for big bass. I want to thank everyone that fished, donated and/or helped to bring this tournament about. You all made it a success.
