TTZ Lake Austin Wednesday Night Tournament - 03/10/14 06:09 PM
Wednesday Night season is upon us and the first Wed Nighter of 2014 will be next Wednesday, March 12! This marks the 8th year of the Wednesday Night Tournament and it has grown from a dozen boats back in 2007 to an average of 30.5 boats over 32 tournaments in 2013. This tournament is the foundation of TTZ and offers anglers of all skill levels a chance to win some money on one of the best big bass lakes in the state while competing in an extremely friendly environment.
The Wed Nighter is also sanctioned for Skeeter Real Money and we paid out $10,000 in Skeeter incentive money last year, where else can you fish a 3.5 hour tournament on a $40 entry and win thousands? If you own a Skeeter be sure to sign up for the Real Money program. And with the Canyon Lake Thursday Night Tournament also sanctioned for Skeeter Real Money you now have twice the chance to win more money fishing out of a Skeeter every week!
Lake Austin is fishing lights out right now and will continue to improve as the temperatures warm up and the spawn approaches. Last year we had 53 boats fish the 2013 season opener and we hope to see everyone under 360 next Wednesday to help kick off the 2014 season.
