WARNING: I don't fly fish for fun. It's food. I mix flies with bait, leadcore line, straight mono and furled shock leaders. If this disturbs your sensibilities, do not watch.

"I don't like casting. It's a waste of time." laugh

I have never caught a fish when my hook wasn't in the water.

OK. So you don't fish for fun, but do you have fun fishing?

I've seen some of your videos over on the bluegill board and enjoyed them.

As long as something is legal it doesn't disturb my sensibilities, and most of the folks on this board aren't all that elitist.

Yes, I do have fun while fishing. I'd like to try an 8 wt bamboo of for this type fly drifting. The lead core line keeps that 6/7 wt bent. A true 8/9 wt should have the backbone for it.

I've posted this video on other forums where some thought I was was committing genocide or something.

Bait fishing with a fly rod, does not equal fly fishing, sorry.
