Denver, CO - Guide Recommendations - 08/06/17 10:00 PM
I will be in Denver from August 24th - 28th and was looking for recommendations of fly guides in the area. I have never fly fished before but thought being in Colorado it would be fun to give it a shot. Let me know if you have experience with an outfit you would recommend for a beginner.
Thanks,
David

www.sunriseanglers.com would be a good place to start.

Just over the mountain in Dillon/Silverthorne are some of the best at The Colorado Angler. Andrew and Hagen are excellent guides/guys....

I used to use Freestone Outfitters up in Denver and they were great. They are now a part of a group called trouts fly fishing. I think the web site is troutsflyfishing.com
I caught some monster trout on a private stretch of water on the North Fork of the South Platte a number of years ago. I personally find it worth the extra $100 or so to gain access to a private stretch of river if you can swing it as there are a lot of anglers up that way.
