Before and After!!!

So I went out this morning before the front came in with my 4wt and my little yellow popper to see if the fish were hungry. I had an epic morning with the bluegill and the bass. Here is a before and after shot of my popper after one hour of fishing!

That is one chewed up popper. Nice fish, looks like you had a lot of fun.

Very nice! Bluegills are a ton of fun to catch on the fly rod!

Sweet I say put it in the retired fly box!i have a bunch I finally just cut off and called it retired even when they still are them! Awsome before ad after and gills.

Very funny, I've had the same problem with the Betts fancy poppers I use. Boogle bugs and self tied foam flies do hold up much better but I just have such great confidence in them that I keep buying and using them.

I need to start a small fly box containing nothing but retired flies!
