New On The Fly near Coppell

Hello all! I'm a long time fisherman and am new on the fly. And now I get it! Hooked!!

I found a fantastic (looking) area off the elm fork trinity with lots of clear bank access for throwing flies. Lots of gar, carp and bass. I'm doing well with conventional rod n reel but am having a tough time with flies. If anyone has tips and would like to join me I would be happy sending you location via PM. I'm not opposed to posting online, but this is a very nice and clean location and I would like to keep it that way.

I'm heading there now for a day of fishing. If I hook up on the fly I will post back.
