BVFF Tie & Fly

This weekend we have our spring fling "Tie & Fly" so I had to check out the ranch and educate a few bass before Sunday afternoon's fly testing. Rainy weather is forecasted Saturday so we will tie flys indoors at my church in town and then test those creations on Sunday out at the ISS ranch..

Good stuff bud! I would like to get on that body of water. I have to say though never underestimate the power of the four😎

25 mph north wind and the barometric pressure went up an entire tenth in an hour this morning. I'd say it's a good day to tie flies.

We had a little get together of the Brazos Valley Fly Fishers Saturday morning to do a little fly tying. And as luck would have it the weather improved greatly in the afternoon so J-Moe and I made a mad dash up the creek to test our luck.. Cool, clear and windy but that mattered very little to the fish we found willing to take the fly..
