Fly Fishing On Pines

Had a fly fishing trip on Lake O the Pines Friday with two men up from south Texas, wind was out of the south 10-15 mph all day. Big fish on the day was a 3.09 lb. bass, they put about 30 fish in the boat. Bass,white bass,crappie,cat fish and bream. Hope to have some photos to add soon.
The bream are starting to bed up in the back of the creek on the north side of the creek. Water temp 64-68 and the lake is about 2.5 feet high.
Fish came on poppers the first hour and then came on zonker and buggers.




Had to add this, our New Minn KOTA i-Pilot we put on our 20 Triton made it easy to fish two Fly fisherman at the same time.

will be back on pines in May for the Bream spawn, it will take about 2 hours for your arm to fall off. lol

Great catch and variety of fish!!!

Looks like the Bream are already starting to spawn in some areas. I can't wait for it to get really hot.
