Trip with Buddies

Got on the river at 9:00 this morning, started catching fish immediately. Shortly after the start of a great day, I was pulling a fish to hand and snap! I knew exactly what it was. Tip snapped on my rod. I’ve had this rod for like 17 years. It’s a sage z axis and I will be sending it to sage for repairs or a new rod. Anyone had any experience with sage customer service? Anyway, ran to the truck grabbed another rod and finished up a great day. Hope everyone is taking advantage of this nice weather.

I’ve actually had the rod about 10 years. It’s getting repaired soon. Sent it in to sage and it cost 75.00. Hopefully I’ll have it back within a few weeks.

Great! Maybe we can break in the repaired version on a carp...

I’m definitely going to make the trip this summer. I think I’ll bring the six weight.
