I’m new to fly fishing , I ordered a piscifun #7/8 plate fly reel yesterday. I guess o should have asked before but I was to excited I guess. What are your guys opinions on that reel? It’s not the most expensive or the cheapest and the reviews seem to be good . Anyone with any experience with this reel?

I have a piscifun blaze 5/6 on one of my rods. There good reels for the price.

I am guessing by the reel that you selected and your location you are targeting redfish, or perhaps something larger? Looks like a good choice.

Yeah I’ll be chasing reds and speckled trout. This is all sounding great looks like a choose a good one. Thanks , I’ll keep you’ll posted when I get it
