1st Place Trout

Congrats goes Capt. Clint Smith of the TEXAS RATTLER™ Pro Staff for his 1st Place finish in the NACE Hooked on Education Tournament in Corpus Christi today.

Capt. Clint "George Springer'ed" them today with a Home Run in our Pro Staffs 1st Tournament of this season.

Very proud of this young man, Capt. Clint is one of the best young Guides in the lower laguna area - he is as knowledgeable as any old salt I've met and he is humble, courteous and a Blast to fish with.

The 2018 Tourney season is just beginning and our Pro Staff has a 1st Place notch on the scoreboard - stay tuned, ... this is gonna be Fun to watch these anglers in action as the year unfolds.

It was a slot fish Tourney with no trout allowed over 25".

Capt. Clint was fortunate enough to land a fat 24.75" trout which weighed 5 lb.s.

He earned his gas money plus some - good day at the office for him.
