This fish broke our line on the hook set. While we were mourning we saw the broken line and float going off upriver, we got our hands on it, tied it back to our mainline, and caught her and unfortunate mistake by the camera man left us with some vertical and backward video LOL
Better luck next time i guess, this alligator gar went 7 foot 1 inch.
The river is still producing for those willing to spend the time and effort to find these bigger fish.

Had some good trips the last week or two up to 30 over 100 pounds for 2017 and 7 over the monster 7 foot mark.
