Underwater Structures at Lake Ray Roberts

Underwater Structures at Lake Ray Roberts - 08/12/17 10:20 PM

Hello all, please forgive me if this topic has been discussed somewhere. I did not see it. I am still learning Lake Ray Roberts and I would like to know where to find some underwater structures to fish around. I was told there are some buildings, churches, etc, but I did not see them on the Lake Map. If anyone has some gps coordinates or general locations, or even a link to more detailed maps, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am sure your boat has electronics and most likely either a Navionics or LakeMaster card in it. If you zoom in, you will see all the areas you mentioned and more visible on the lake interior.

https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=en#boating@12&key=_hujE~bhoQ

You can use the Navionics website to see Ray Roberts and zoom in to see the same info in the comfort of your own home. It will list structure as we.

I am new to Ray Roberts and saw that you have maps of underwater structure on the lake. I went with a guide last year and he put me on a large structure near the dam on the east side. Do you have maps-locations of structure?

Go to Navionics chart viewer, zoom in on the main lake point(s) between Wolf and Indian creeks.

I'm sure Donald can help you. I would also suggest getting a copy of Martin's map of Ray Roberts. This is a two page plastic laminated map with detail on both arms of the lake and the center portion of the lake. They used to sell them at Bass Pro Shops. This map has much more detail than Navionics. It also has GPS waypoints for many objects in the lake.
