Ute lake, NM

Anyone fished this lake recently? I don't have any experience with it but have a lot of experience with Conchas lake. Do the lakes fish similarly? Conchas is just a little too far for a day trip and I'm looking to start trying my luck at Ute. Any reports would be great for bass.
