Go tot the 2nd cove past powell park and go too the back of it. Fish the hydrilla beds back there and catch as many as you want.
Only caught 2 out of there. Caught all other fish this weekend out of flooded brush in about 3-4 ft of water.

Early top water is still really good, after that slows back off a little bit. I will be headed back up there this coming weekend.

Might try drifting minnows on a good bank using split shot. Heaven forbid using live bait. Had a neighbor even ask me if it was even legal ha,ha. Once you find them, just redo the drift. Been broke off in Lake Nac dropping into a creek once. Surprised the heck out of me. Heard it from a paper towel salesman.
