Lake Brownwood

I am headed to Lake Brownwood this weekend, staying at the state park, never fished the lake, any advice on sand bass or crappie?

We used to go to Brownwood for a family reunion this time of year. The sand bass were schooling early and late. The flat rock park cove was always good as well as the sandy flat that is south of the state park. Have fun.

Got into the sand bass on a wind blown point caught 50 or so. Caught 14 small buck bass, crappie were tough only got 6

Man lake flooded and its shut down its solid chocolate milk tough to fish, i will wait a week or two till it clears up
