Yes it was reopened do reroute traffic from the head on crash in Wylie. Don't know if it will stay open or not.

Better question: is there access/parking to the dam tailrace from the other side for fishing?

Called the Lake Lavon office this morning and the lady said it will not remain open.The closure of the road has something to do with it not complying with TexDot code standards.

Then why no pedestrians allowed? Caught many fish when I was a young man walking the dam rip rap.
