I was at the McCown Park ramp on Monday and the gate keeper advised that the water was 5 feet deep at the top of the ramp.... I think most of the Corps ramps are about the same level... wouldn't guarantee it though. If I were guessing, I would guess that the ramp at Steel Creek Red Bluff might be the only ramp that is open... and the odds of that are low... maybe some private ramps... or not.

But, I will be interested to see what folks have to say....

This is just getting old. Having a lake house and having a boat slip on Whitney is getting to be a bad idea. As the Corp. will tell us Whitney was built for a holding lake , and they could care less if they flood all the parks , marinas , ect. And they surely would not want the Brazos to flood the new Baylor Stadium. The water at Juniper Cove is all the way up in the parking lot and over the bathroom and all the electric boxes. After all the money they spent fixing it from the last flood , here we go again. $$$$ mean while PK & Grandbury or a foot low , and still releasing water. I went over the dam Monday and water was covering all the tables at Lofers , and Harbor Master was also under water.

Thanks for the info. I was afraid that the ramps would be closed. I guess I will go to Palestine this Friday.

Anybody have any updates they could post. I called juniper on Friday and they said the boat ramp should be open this weekend.
