Bank fishing Saturday, where? (DFW)

My coworker and I are getting cabin fever. We need to catch us a mess of fish. Neither of us have a boat. I don't care what we fish for. Where can a couple guys have a good chance of catching fish around DFW this time of year?

Be more specific, what part of DFW do you mean, or are you willing to drive "anywhere"?

I'm open to any spot within 2 hours of downtown Dallas. I'm comfortable with state or municipal parks a joining area lakes or rivers. I have crappie, bass, and catfish rod setups, but little experience under my belt.

Try the Lewisville fishing Barge, or around that area on the bank, usually can get something going there.

Ray Roberts, state Parks everywhere with fishing all around. The Isle Du Bois unit has the fishing pier open again. Saw lots of people out there last week.

There are bank spots Everywhere on the lake. Pull out a map and drive to somewhere that looks good to you.
