Hello, I've been to some "decent" spots in Carrollton, TX. Anyone know of any good spots to fish?

Last years drought really did a number on the small bodies of water around Carrollton. A few years back you could find people fishing several ponds around town.
I assume you are talking about banking and not by boat..........

When I visit my son near Carrolton, I usually drive up 35E and fish at Arrowhead Park on the North side of Lake Lewisville. I've caught some nice LM bass just casting around the many ramps there. Costs a few bucks to get in, but that seems to keep the riff-raff out.
