Joe Pool Lake open?

Is Joe Pool open?

No way.Its almost 12 feet high and they closed it when it was 7 feet high.
It was only partially open at 4 feet high.
The only thing open is some camping.

Slip owners at Lynn Creek have access to their boats now.

I drove by a little while later - water still halfway into the dry storage lot. I did see one boat out just a little ways from the marina - must have been a slip owner.

Lake is still closed to all Boat Traffic and will be until mid August .The only boats running out on the main lake are either search and rescue or park rangers / Game Wardens .

The Marina was running there pontoon back and forth to the docks before the new floating bridge was finished so boat owners could check there boats .

They will only be releasing 500CFS or Less until Lake Lewisville , Grapevine and Ray Robers are back to normal . The first time they released Water at a good rate it flooded Loop 12 and singleton .

It sucks but the fall fishing should be awesome will all the pressure being off for a few months .

The boat I saw was a small Tahoe pleasure boat with a couple wearing bathing suits

Must be boat slip owners.
