Plastics with large thumping tails that displace a lot of water when moved.
A dark jig (black with a solid dark color trailer) pitched/flipped close to cover really shines. Saved me several times fishing muddy water.

The slightest movement of the rod brings the B2 Worm to life.
This worm shines as a great topwater bait too!
I like thumper worms in dirty water. Swim it up to a target then kill it letting it sink.
I'm just telling you what I would do in dirty flood water if things get tough.

Bass are mostly sight feeders, remember the 4 times rule.
Drop something in the water if it disappears at say 2 ft x 4 = 8ft
That's how far the bass can see...
