Lewisville Lake Completly Closed Public Ramps??

I would assume the all the ramps are closed for Lewisville. Is this correct, unless you have a slip?

Which one? I drove by the new ramp yesterday at lunch and it was blocked off.

The Major News Networks are reporting all boat ramps are now closed at Lewisville, Lake Worth and Grapevine as well as Ray Roberts. However, I did launch my little one man inflatable pontoon boat at Little Elm on Monday....pretty snakey and tons of floaters just under the water surface.

I went down to little elm ramp yesterday at 6pm with my son to look around. some guy was just pulling his boat out.

Just got of phone with little elm parks and rec and confirmed the little elm ramp is absolutely still open for use

They are constructing a very nice boat dock at the ramp. May have explained markers. It looks like it will only take a 2-3 more feet and it will be a problem.

I recall in 07 the lake was going over the spillway. The ramp at Hidden Cove,private ramp at 121 and one other was being used. It made for some boat ramp madness!

in 07 when going over the spillway I still remember the video of the idiots on the waverunner that flew right over it, right past all the buoys and on video. I got yelled at for fishing on the golf course, I informed them I was in my boat so actually I was fishing on the lake !

Little Elm park is open, ramps are closed. I just left there.

It appears from the Lake level website that LL may be going over right now.
Lake elevation shows to be 532.03 and spillway elev is at 532.0

With 50% more water and the same amount of fish...they would probably be pretty scattered anyway.

Here at the Little Elm Fire Department, we were just informed all ramps, except Hidden Cove, are closed. Hidden Cove is still operational.

I launched at hidden cove yesterday afternoon but they turned me away this morning, said the corp made them close down and shut down the power to the docks.

Called and spoke with a gal names Kara at Hidden Cove as of 11:20am this morning, and she said its $5 a person and $10 to launch and they are open. I'll be headed out there tomorrow once I get back in town.

I miss fishing Ray Roberts, Grapevine, & Lewisville but right now I am glad to live on the east side of town.

I called Hidden Cove 4:00 PM the Corp shut the ramp today. Hidden Cove is now closed.

Noooooooooo! Man I need to go Fishing and boating.

Go get a kayak. You can launch those from ANYWHERE!
